Job Description:

We’re looking for a dedicated and proactive HR Officer in Abu Dhabi to join our energetic marketing agency in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will support a variety of HR functions, such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. This role is key in creating a positive work environment and ensuring our HR practices follow best practices and local labour laws. (HR Officer in Abu Dhabi)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with department heads to understand hiring needs and develop job descriptions.
  • Manage the entire recruitment process, from posting jobs and screening candidates to interviewing and making job offers.
  • Oversee the onboarding of new hires, helping them settle in and understand their roles.
  • Be a point of contact for employees with HR questions, resolving any issues quickly and professionally.
  • Support employee engagement activities and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Help mediate conflicts and facilitate discussions to maintain a healthy work environment.
  • Set up and manage the performance review process.
  • Work with managers to identify training needs and provide resources to help employees grow.
  • Track performance improvement plans and assist employees in meeting their goals.
  • Ensure HR policies comply with local labour laws.
  • Keep employee records accurate and up to date, following data protection guidelines.
  • Assist with payroll preparation and work with finance to ensure timely salary payments.
  • Manage employee benefits, like health insurance and other perks.
  • Answer questions about compensation, benefits, and other HR policies.
  • Plan training programs and workshops to help employees develop new skills.
  • Maintain HR systems to keep employee information current.
  • Prepare reports and share HR data with management as needed.
  • Handle other HR administrative tasks as they come up.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of HR experience, ideally within a marketing agency or creative industry.
  • Good understanding of local labor laws and HR practices.
  • Strong communication and people skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with care.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
