Kazamer Tax Consultant is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT team. The job role of a Desktop Support Engineer is to provide technical support for our company’s hardware, software, and IT systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal employee performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Support office productivity tools and company-specific applications.
- Manage local network connections, ensuring proper connectivity for workstations and devices.
- Assist with software installations, updates, and patches.
- Resolve issues related to operating systems and hardware components.
- Monitor and maintain the health of desktop systems through regular system checks, virus scans, and backups.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, IT Technician, or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS) and office productivity tools.
- Experience with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN) and network troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach to user support.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or similar IT certifications.
- Experience with Active Directory, remote desktop management, or cloud-based applications.
