Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Quick Vision Surveyor and Engineer to provide precise navigation and positioning support during heavy lifting and installation on offshore platforms. This role involves high-precision data collection, real-time survey support, and post-installation as-built surveys, using Quick Vision technology to ensure operational accuracy and safety. The ideal candidate will work closely with the offshore project team to maintain efficient and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Navigation & Positioning: Provide precise navigation and positioning during heavy lifting operations on platforms using Quick Vision technology.
  • Data Collection: Collect high-precision survey data to support lifting and installation operations.
  • Real-Time Support: Deliver real-time survey data for seamless and safe lifting and installation activities.
  • Post-Installation Surveys: Conduct as-built surveys after installation to document platform structures.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate survey equipment to ensure optimal performance during operations.
  • Technical Support: Offer technical guidance and support for Quick Vision survey equipment.
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to offshore safety standards and quality guidelines in all survey activities.
  • Data Integrity & Analysis: Ensure data accuracy, assist with data interpretation, and support reporting requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with surveyors, engineers, project managers, and offshore crews to support smooth operations.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 5 years of offshore experience with Quick Vision systems, especially in heavy lifting and survey operations.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Quick Vision technology, offshore survey equipment, and software.
  • Skills: Proficient in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and maintaining accurate data integrity in dynamic offshore environments.
  • Certifications: Valid offshore certifications and safety training.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, able to collaborate with engineers, project managers, and offshore crews effectively.
Qualifications
  • Education: Degree in Engineering, Surveying, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Offshore Knowledge: Solid understanding of post-installation as-built survey processes and heavy lifting requirements.
