One of the UAE’s leading Integrated Facilities Management (FM) providers is seeking a skilled QSHE Manager to join their team in Abu Dhabi. This role will be instrumental in ensuring top-tier Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment (QSHE) standards across their FM operations, playing a key part in maintaining regulatory compliance and promoting a culture of safety and quality throughout the organization.
Job Description:
The QSHE Manager will lead the development and implementation of the QSHE management system, focusing on compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities will include conducting regular audits, managing incident investigations, providing training on QSHE best practices, and promoting effective risk management strategies. The QSHE Manager will also work closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to uphold the organization’s commitment to QSHE excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Development & Maintenance: Design, implement, and maintain a robust QSHE management system in alignment with industry standards.
- Audits & Compliance: Conduct regular QSHE audits and inspections to ensure policy compliance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Incident Management: Lead investigations for incidents, accidents, and near misses, developing and implementing corrective actions.
- Training & Development: Conduct training for staff at all levels to ensure adherence to QSHE standards.
- Risk Management: Collaborate with operational teams to ensure strong risk management strategies are in place.
- Performance Monitoring: Track QSHE performance metrics, provide recommendations, and prepare reports for senior management.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work with clients, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders to promote QSHE standards.
- Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive QSHE reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and improvement areas.
- Cultural Leadership: Promote a culture of safety and quality through effective leadership and communication.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 5 years in a QSHE role, ideally within the FM industry or a comparable sector.
- Standards Knowledge: Strong understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and other relevant QSHE regulations.
- Skills:
- Proven experience in developing and implementing QSHE management systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk management skills.
- Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong communication and training skills, with experience in conducting workshops.
- Certifications: Professional QSHE certifications (such as NEBOSH or IOSH) are highly desirable.
Salary and Benefits:
- Monthly Salary: AED 25,000 – 40,000 (inclusive of fixed allowances)
