Hamad International Airport
Hamad International Airport (HIA) is the hub for the rapidly expanding international Qatar Airways network. Open 24/7 and located just five km from Doha’s city centre, the airport is used by more than 35 regional and international airlines. It is also home to the world’s only terminal dedicated to Qatar Airways First and Business Class passengers.
In this role you must have excellent knowledge on installation and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, printers and other end-user equipment. Taking ownership of technical issues, and working with the other support & development group to resolve more advanced issues when necessary. Working knowledge of Cisco products such as switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers and IPS/ IDS.
You must have an excellent knowledge on installation and troubleshooting of special airport systems such as Flight Information Display Systems (FIDS), CUTE, IPTV, Master Clock, AODB. Basic knowledge on multiple domains such as networking, client server technology, web based technologies (Share Point etc.). IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Process Knowledge is an added advantage.
To be successful in this role you must have customer facing experience with good English written and verbal skills (Arabic skills would be an advantage). You must handle multiple tasks at one time and work successfully as part of a team, while under pressure. You must work varied hours / days based on business needs with process oriented approach to address issues in hand.
You will hold a degree in Computers / Engineering / Diploma or Equivalent years Experience in IT Infrastructure with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
