About Your Job:
In this role you must install, maintain and support end user devices such as Desktops, Laptops, Printers, Data and Voice Network, etc. ensuring quality service is provided to Al Maha Airways. You must co-ordinate, maintain and support UNIX, Linux, Windows Operating systems and Enterprise Storage Systems to keep up with the latest technology. You must supervise and install, upgrade, maintain and support all IT security systems such as CCTV, Access Control Systems, etc. ensuring security standards are maintained as per laid down company policies. You will be responsible to install, upgrade, maintain and support user-end software products, anti-virus products, tools, etc. as and when required, to keep up the systems along with the latest technology. You must supervise and monitor Support Servers, Storage and User-end Devices to meet the business objectives of the business units. You must follow up and maintain Operating Systems and User Profile Management on Windows, Unix and Linux Operating Systems pro-actively to keep up the technology along with latest versions. You will maintain Enterprise Storage Systems ensuring the company’s vital data is protected at all times.
You must maintain Corporate Network world-wide ensuring the high availability of Networks at all times. In case of system failures, you must provide technical support for TS Infrastructure and other products ensuring reduced down time to the business units. You must ensure that Process and Procedures are followed as per ITIL standards for IT Services and Support across all platforms. You must take control of IT assets throughout their lifecycle, from request to disposal. Account for hardware and software assets—including physical, financial and contractual data with detailed views and analytics that enable you to make more informed business decisions, reduce costs and increase efficiency. You must proactively monitor and troubleshoot all end user devices and Networks. Respond to Incidents and Problems. Plan Infrastructure changes and take appropriate remedial actions in case of equipment failures. You will assist in the response to any emergency or a major operational disruption affecting Al Maha Airways. Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by Management.
To be successful in this role, you must hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent, along with certifications like CCNA/CCNP/MCP/ITIL or MCSE. You must have at least 3 to 4 years of experience in Desktops, Laptops, Printers, CISCO Products such as Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Load Balancers and IPS/IDS.
You should have an in depth knowledge on Windows, Linux and Unix Operating systems and expertise in managing IT Assets across the globe. You must also have a good understanding of Structured Cabling, Switches, Routers, LAN, WAN and experience in trouble shooting Routing Protocols like OSPF, RIP and IGRP. Customer Service skills is highly desired.
