General Purpose

Has overall planning, development and monitoring responsibility of a product/application/platform release portfolio over its life-cycle. Provides leadership and expertise in implementing a product/application strategy for a variety of products/ product lines/applications.

Ensures product competitiveness and customer (direct and indirect) attractiveness. Is responsible for product offer uniqueness and innovativeness and is measured on customer relevance/benefit. Is responsible and measured for product offers’ performance in benchmarks compared to target. Is responsible for proactively managing customer (direct and indirect) needs and expectations. Acts as Coach/Mentor of the best practices and his/her expertise within the own competence area. Widely recognized content contributor. Has full individual accountability for customer interface. May manage other PMs.

Position Description

– Responsible for pushing Multi Vendor NPO portfolio across the customers in AMEA
– Single point of contact for all region sales teams on NPO Multi Vendor portfolio
– Create sales strategy to increase the share of business in MV NPO business
– To work with sales development and region solutions teams to identify opportunities to sell MV portfolio items
– To provide active support to all the Multi Vendor NPO services cases in different phases of sales life cycle
– Create awareness of Nokia NPO MV solutions inside the company and also outside
– Sales presentations directly to ICT providors or in relevant forums
– Solution creation on technical and commercial level
– Supporting delivery teams on as per need basis in after sales period for Multi Vendor portfolios
– Liasing with stakeholders and different parties to ensure availability of skilled resources to deliver MV portfolio
– Other adhoc support as required

Position Requirements

– Proven experience of network optimisation techniques and processes
– Proven experience in pre-sales and solutioning phase of NPO portfolio
– Outstanding analytical skills on radio network performance issues
– Proven knowledge on KPI definition with raw counters from different vendors to maintain or create new formulas
– Good Nokia, Ericsson and Huawei background
– Deep knowledge of 2G, 3G and 4G radio architecture/design/planning and optimisation
– Experience of using network statistics, mapinfo, networks tracing related tools and drive trialling logs to analyse and improve network performance
– Good negotiation skills to make agreements with the internal teams and suppliers
– Ability to think strategically and deliver to challenging targets and deadlines working under pressure
– Communication and presentation skills – presenting complex technical information in plain language
– Experience of creating business cases
– Strong database and tool knowledge to include SQL, business objects, VB, MapInfo, with ability to learn others
