To manage and enhance the existing commercial portfolio of Emerging Corporates customers and solicit acceptable new Emerging Corporates relationships in order to meet the pre-set financial / non-financial objectives with necessary assistance from ARM/CSO.
Key result areas
Improve share of wallet and target to be primary bank for each of the relationship in the portfolio by enhancing relationship revenue from existing portfolio of borrowing and non-borrowing Emerging Corporate relationships by cross-selling and up-selling complete range of banking products.
Manage the existing portfolio of Emerging Corporate borrowing and non-borrowing customers to ensure establishment of appropriate account plans, recommend credit facilities in line with Bank’s credit policy to maximize earnings while containing risks to an acceptable levels and to maintain acceptable portfolio quality.
Assume complete ownership of customer relationship management for the assigned portfolio of accounts and provide superior customer experience.
Undertake industry and company specific research analysis.
Implement and maintain complete control aspects i.e. documentation, periodical client visits / call reports, stock inspections and formal credit checks / informal market feedback to monitor the assigned portfolio effectively.
Screen the market for new-to-bank opportunities.
Develop on the job learning curve of ARM to enable them to grow professionally and prepare them for higher levels of responsibility.
Gather market information and develop working relationships with different businesses to position the company as one of the best financial institutions in UAE.
Develop and maintain strong working relations with all existing clients at key levels to optimize the utilization of approved credit facilities.
Implement and maintain complete control aspects i.e. financial analysis of statements of accounts, documentation, periodical client visits / call reports, stocks inspections and formal credit checks / informal market feedback to manage the unit’s portfolio effectively.
Undergo an annual credit review process of existing portfolio to achieve a satisfactory rating for the unit vis-à-vis asset portfolio quality and credit management process.
Knowledge, skills & experience
Complete knowledge and clear understanding of Bank’s credit policy and operating systems.
Strong credit and legal knowledge and marketing skills mandatory.
Thorough awareness of various financial products / services.
Excellent communication and analytical skills with ability to perform as a Team Leader and Supervisor.
The job holder should be bachelor degree holder with minimum 5 – 7 years relevant experience and at least 2 years in a marketing/supervisor position.
MBA/CA is a plus.
