About Your Job::

The responsibilities of the Procurement Specialist will include managing all procurement requirements in a group of product categories, setting category strategy, interfacing with colleagues of all levels and managing the supply to ensure best value for the company in line with its strategic, financial and operational requirements. This will include challenging the end user requirement and ensuring relevant approvals are in place. Product and supplier sourcing/negotiation, RFQ management and administration for high value requirements. The role will be responsible to ensure conformance to procurement processes and use best endeavours to meet reasonable user delivery requirements.

About You::

You will have the ability to manage multiple procurement projects in accordance to company’s strategic, financial and operational requirements. You will actively manage a team, set priorities, coach and assist in problem resolution. You will be accountable for decisions taken and project delivery. You will have the ability to work independently, demonstrating forward planning, initiative and business process improvement while also taking responsibility for self and team development.

The main area for this role will be to oversee the procurement functions for Ground Services in an aviation capacity, having knowledge in this area is essential.

You will hold degree level education with minimum of 8 years experience in a procurement role with airline, Middle East or strong product category experience with airline experience.

You will display strong communications skills, numeracy and ability to present data clearly and accurately.
