Accounting Jobs Payments Product Manager By Jopaul MJ - October 6, 2014 548 Location: U.A.E,Dubai Job function: Corporate Banking Number of positions: 1 Expiry date: 30th November 2014 Job Purpose • To develop, implement and manage Corporate Payments, Account Services and Liquidity products, solutions and services • To manage the Corporate Banks internet banking service as a viable, secure and modern delivery channel for cash management solutions, through continuous product development and channel migration strategies. • To introduce innovative solutions including E-Commerce in keeping with the evolving market needs. • To manage and drive a specialized team towards the achievement of goals and objectives of the business • Be responsible for the whole product cycle of each product, solution and service related with Payments, Account Services and liquidity, from product design, development, roll out and customer implementation. • Be responsible for the profitability of each product, solution and service • Be responsible for keeping under control cost associated with the business and each product, solution or service • Be responsible for revenue generation coming from the commercialization of the set of products under his responsibility • Design strategies and implement concrete action plans to effective position competitive offering in the market that meet customer’s needs and position the Bank as a key player in this business • Be responsible to price the products, solutions and services in a competitive way to assure product profitability and market competitiveness. • Be the solution provider of all CIBD divisions of the bank and proactively give direct support to IBG • Be an active team member at GTS level participating and leading cross division special initiatives that contributes to the overall performance of GTS business • Manage MIS and produce the necessary activity and performance reports. • Develop and update all necessary Products Programs for each product, solution and service. • Be responsible to comply with all internal and external policies, procedures and regulations Key result areas • Stay abreast of evolving e-commerce related infrastructure, laws and regulations and ensure that the Bank is well positioned to meet the challenges in an evolving market. • Maximize STP for all channels to bring in back office cost savings through process efficiencies and reduced manpower needs. • Ensure that product pipeline remains strong by working closely with the sales team to ensure that product conversion are revenue targets are met. • Ensure that projects are correctly managed and tracked to meet target dates for rollout and implementations. • Establish key parameters and standards for measuring product performance. • Provide system specs and oversee testing of new features prior to moving to production. • Ensure that standard operating procedures are current and processes are followed. • Market payment, account services and liquidity solutions to internal and external customers. • Migrate the current customers of the Bank to the newer channels. • Develop tracking and data mining systems that facilitate in depth analysis of all customer activity to establish trends and devise strategies to enhance system usage. • Establish and conduct e-learning classes onsite to ensure that the implementation team is kept to a minimum. Knowledge, skills & experience • Incumbent should have prior direct cash management experience in a similar position. • Ability to understand technology related issues in keeping with the job demands necessary. • University degree with at least 5+ years in a product management or related area within cash management or banking. • Clear understanding of market dynamics and the ability to assess the market going forward. • Be able to dimension the impact of new technologies being introduced to be able to assess their impact on the Banks services. • A strong operational background or a clear understanding of how the back office operates vis-à-vis the payment, account services and liquidity products.
