JOB PURPOSE:

The Operations Manager will be responsible all operations activities related to corporate sales department, leading operational support team including the following:

  • Stock controller and stock controller assistant team
  • Sales assistants
  • Delivery coordinators and drivers

Operational activities:

  • Support increasing sales to the top 150 AFM customers with smooth operational delivery of documentation and vehicles.
  • Manage corporate stock allocation to optimise customer satisfaction, improve stock management and minimise ageing.
  • Manage service notification process within corporate to facilitate a smooth flow of vehicles through PDI whilst optimising customer satisfaction
  • Manage team to ensure direct and in-house deliveries for all corporate customers are timely and achieved at minimum possible cost
  • Manage unit movement from AFL to customers location or corporate yards
  • Stock planning in-line with company and department objectives
  • Working within the corporate management team, the position contributes to the development and implementation of organisational strategies, policies and practices and the leadership of the corporate function.

Responsibilities:

Improve the operational systems, processes and policies to support the development of AFM specifically support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organisational and operational planning. Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Operation Services (stock management and planning and Logistics, communication between support and business functions.Leading operations team and coaching team members to develop their personal skills and ensure improved team productivityManaging stock levels for corporate department and monitoring stock movement to reduce aged stock and logistics costWorking with sales team to finalise monthly and weekly forecast
