Commercial Support Officer – Northern Emirates

Key Accountabilities:

The Commercial Suuport Officer will provide and maintain high level full service relationships to the new and existing commercial customers to achieve branch targets set for the commercial mid market.

  • Support Relationship Manager, Commercial to achieve sales targets.
    Act as first contact point for the defined commercial customers, understand their needs, risk appetite and sell the available services based on the customers’ net worth to maintain the quality portfolio.
  • Periodically monitor the loan portfolio and ensure its compatibility with profitability objectives and risk management guidelines.
  • Take interest to cross sell Bank’s products and services to support the achievement of Bank’s targets.
  • Provide high level of customer service by ensuring that all requirements for facilities are made available and handled promptly and efficiently to enhance the customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with Head Commercial Segment to avoid inconsistency in offering terms and conditions for various products and services to the same customer at different locations through different branches.
  • Agree with the head commercial banking for a self development plan and adhere to the same to enhance knowledge based skills.
  • Develop positive business relationship by visiting customers regularly and advising them on their business requirements and the products available with the Bank.
Person Specifications:

  • Bachelor / Master in Economics / Finance / Business Management.
  • 5-6 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Good Command of English, Arabic would be an advantage.
  • Planning and organizing skills.
  • Communication skills.
  • Negotiation skills.
