Midwife – Western/Middle Eastern Educated & Trained

Offers advice and safe, effective midwifery care that respects the cultural and social needs of each woman and her family during the antenatal, intrapartum and postpartum period. Demonstrates competency in the skills needed to assist and support the woman before, during and after child birth. Works collaboratively with other health care professionals to improve the delivery of services to women and families. Safely administers medication according to the hospital policy during pregnancy, birth and lactation.
Western/Middle Eastern Educated & Trained
Must hold current home country License as Midwife
Bachelor degree in Midwifery or equivalent qualification with minimum of three (3) years course duration in “Midwifery” OR
BSc in Nursing, or equivalent with minimum three (3) years course duration and Midwifery Certificate with minimum 1 year course duration
Three (3) years experience as a Midwife in maternity hospital or appropriate setting
