About your Job:

You will be responsible to assist in the delivery of a professional and Five Star Service of Auditing that is “Honest & Loyal” and “Drives Excellence” in all aspects of the Audit process. Assists and supports in the inspection, review and appraising of the audit process. Create strong business partnerships that fully integrate and align with the departmental goals, business deliverables and a “Customer First” attitude that promotes “One Team” and takes “Pride in Qatar” and what we do as a business unit.

You will also be responsible to ensure continuous communication with the Manager is maintained. Provide regular updates on Lounge (Al Maha) related audit progress, submit progress reports and escalate issues or challenges faced proactively. You will conduct all aspects of audits competently, including but not limited to core functions of Lounge (Al Maha), Ground Training, and Call Center and comply with the five star standards as set by Qatar Airways DIA & HIA or outstation airports. Assist in the timely completion of the Audit timetable, communication plan, audit programme, fieldwork, thorough work paper filing, portal update and draft report for submission to the Manager.

It is important that you proactively leverage knowledge and skill strengths of colleagues (HIA, MIA and consultants) to continually assess and improve lounge services and associated areas. Ensure that auditing skills are always advanced through a commitment to learn and familiarise with current issues in auditing, research and system advancement. Conduct ad-hoc special projects as requested by the Manager from time to time.

You will maintain excellent working relationships with other staff, and ensure interaction during projects is proactive and professional. Assist in specialist subject matter gathering and surveying of audits. Meet strict deadlines, with thorough accurate workflow to be provided to the Manager or consultants on time as per business requirements. Undertake any other task assigned from time to time such as managing co-source partner, attending meeting to represent Internal Audit etc.. Maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues and ensure interaction during projects is proactive and professional.

About you:

You will hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent,  you will also have a minimum 5 years of job-related experience.   It is preferred that you hold experience in this field within the Airline Industry, Hospitality Industry or in a Premium Customer Service focused role.

You hold experience in a strong auditing background of compiling audit forms. providing audit support and compiling audit related questions, reports, feedback, recommendations and analysis.

To be suitable for this role you need to hold excellent communication skills in English, you will have strong presentation and report writing skills as well as fluency in MS applications.  You are a highly motivated individual with a meticulous attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills.  Additionally you have a keen interest in Customer service combined with excellent commercial awareness, you can work well to deadlines and provide well within a team.

You have a keen interest and ability in being able to read, analze and interpret data, understand procedures and regulations and compile related manuals.
