  • Job Purpose

  • To manage the activities related to the Product and solutions Development Section, activities related to User Terminal Development and related to business support on all the User Terminals once the products are delivered. To test and support product development with the concerned sections and have a regular updated status of the same for all products and solutions handled by the department. To answer the queries and design issues related to the implementation of approved 3rd party developer’s products / developments.
  • Principal Accountabilities

    • Testing, administering, reporting and following up with services introduced within the Department of the Products and Solutions Engineering
    • Participate in evaluating Services / Projects introduced within the department of Product Development
    • Conduct, or participate in conducting, test of different products within the department of Product Development
    • Document and Report test results
    • Evaluate test result and provide recommendations
    • Participate in the implementation of the Services related to the User Terminals
    • Ensure that the 3rd party Developers, queries and design issues and the responses are replied to in an accurate and timely manner
  • Knowledge Skills and Experience

    • Technical Education at Bachelor level. Preferably in the field of Electronics/Electrical and/or telecommunications
    • Good knowledge of measurement techniques/tools in analogue and digital networks i.e. Spectrum Analyzer, signal generators, etc
    • Good knowledge of basic telecom concepts such as coding, transmission, switching, RF, communications protocols, etc
    • Good ‘hands on’ experience in the field of engineering
    • Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken
    • Self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision
    • Basic computer skills, at minimum, MS word, Excel, web searching tools
    • Flexibility to adopt different working-hours and locations
