Assistant Manager – Sales

    Burj Khalifa - Dubai, UAE


    The job holder will be responsible for the development, implementation and performance of all sales initiatives and activities required for all At the Top assets.

    Key Accountabilities:

    Sales Strategy:

    • Develops sales strategy and programs to expand the customer base, thus ensuring achievement of revenue targets
    • Develops yearly budgets & targets with the Senior Sales & Marketing Manager.

    Sales Operations:

    • Proposes pricing and other discounted procedures, based on sales targets while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
    • Develops alternative revenue streams to maximise sales for At the Top by initiating new ideas for product development and identifies new business opportunities.
    • Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
    • Contributes to the development of the educational programs from a sales perspective for At the Top assets.
    • Maintains accurate records of all pricing, sales and activity reports.
    • Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
    • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
    • Handles seminars / presentations regarding At the Top assets to hotels / tour operators / clubs etc.
    • Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
    • Maintains detailed knowledge of the company’s products or services.
    • Updates constantly of what competitors are doing.
    • Liaises with hotels/tour operators on providing timely information and other collateral support.

     Team Management:

    • Sets individual targets (revenue driven and not footfall driven) for sales team with the approval of Director, Operations.
    • Monitors team performance and ensures target achievement of team members.
    • Develops plans for individual & team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
    • Prioritizes and plans teams and own tasks to ensure they are completed within set deadlines.
    • Propose trainings to develop skills within the team.
    • Ensures that the team is trained on the brand before commencement of any sales program.


    • Provides timely feedback to the Director, Operations on sales revenue and performance of sales programs.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline/industry
    • Submits monthly targets/ forecast report and weekly sales team performance report
    • Provides Director with opportunities / sales versus performance so that the Director can review actual sales reports from systems.


    • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline/industry


    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales ideally in a retail / tourism/ attractions industry.
    • Minimum 2 years of people management experience.

    Skills and competences:

    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
