About Your Job::
You will be responsible for Accounts Receivable, Credit and collections functions including billing, collections, bad debts provision analysis, receipt delay analysis and cashiering activities.
You will be responsible for the monthly AR close process including reconciliation of the AR sub-ledger to the general ledger as well as preparing monthly AR activity and tie-back to the AR Aging. You will assure timely collection due to company, conduct credit checks on all customers, maintains detailed accounts analysis by party establish, manage limits, monitor and report to management any deviations from credit standards. You must audit delinquent accounts considered to be uncollectible to ensure maximum efforts have been taken before assigning bad debts status to the account. You will be responsible for assisting in the response to any emergency or a major operational disruption affecting Al Maha Airways.
To be successful in this role you will hold a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Commerce or Accounting. You will have a minimum of 4 years’ of job related experience in accounting within Aviation industry is required. Moreover, you must be fluent with excellent command in English and advanced in ERP Financial systems. With excellent communication, as is the ability to work effectively across the organisation in a multi-cultural environment.
